Harmony 1

A note from Harmony's adopted Family:

On Dec 29th we had to say goodbye to Harmony. We adopted her on July 4th 2001. She was an amazing dog, with so much love to give. She was so excited when our first child came that we were afraid we wouldn't be able to keep her, but after a little work she became the best, most patient dog any one could ask for. By the time our second child came along, she was an old hand with babies. She was probably more patient with the children than we are.

This last year she began having some trouble with steps and such, and had slowed down quite a bit, but she was still a puppy at heart, and loved having her belly rubbed and her treats, and 2 small children guaranteed a steady supply of those.

Finally she could no longer stand up on her own, and it became too painful her walk, and we had to let her go. Even though she has left a Malamute shaped hole in our hearts, we are so greatful she was a part of our lives.

Harmony will be missed very much by all that knew her. Harmony 2
