Spaying, Neutering and Breeding

Alaskan Malamute Rescue of New England, Inc spays or neuters all the dogs they place. We do this for their own health and because we believe that very few malamutes should be allowed to reproduce. These malamutes should be the ones that have proven themselves as show and working dogs as well as having been checked for genetic diseases. If you are not sure about spaying/neutering or breeding, check out the articles below. If you are planning to breed, please look at the puppy questions and see how you and your dog would rate.
