Woody

Woody

Woody (Kodiak Wood) was adopted on November 4 1995 by Carol Graves and her son (Geoff Graves) from Alaskan Malamute Rescue of Massachusetts and Susan Conant.

He came to us at age 3 with bad habits. He loved to use his mouth on everything and everyone and he always loved to dig big holes in the backyard. He seemed to be afraid of the human hand and didn’t make human friends easily. My husband and I gave him love, understanding and a lot of discipline. We were rewarded with 10 years of love and companionship. Woody became a great pet.

It became clear to us about 5 months ago that his time was coming. He no longer could go for walks, see too well or hear so well. He started failing as we approached winter and we new in our hearts it was time to let him go where he could run again.

Woody crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Tuesday December 20,2005. The 3 people who loved him the most was there to comfort him until the end. He went peacefully.

He will be greatly missed but always loved by Ken and Carol Graves and his Neighbor buddy Leo Page
